I found this short codes i taught may be useful to a few who would like the ease short code banking brings especially the checking of account balances, loading of credit and for those that memorized their old account numbers before NUBAN came in and demanded we cram the new number, you can confirm if you have the right code for the latter.

Loading credit 

Type 1

For Airtime Purchase: Send “Network Amount (NUBAN Account Number’) to 08076665555                                     E.g Mtn 1000 0123456789 to 08076665555

Type 2

• To load credit to your registered phone number (the one you get your alerts from the bank for all your transactions) just type *737*amount#  Eg *737*2500#
• To load credit on your other line or a friends line or trying to gift or save someone with recharge card YOU MUST NOTE 3 THINGS, 1. THE PERSONS NUMBER, 2. WHICH NETWORK THEY ARE USING ( some people may have ported to another network provider still retaining their former sim card number that you may recognise as a known network), 3. THE LAST 4 DIGITS OF YOUR ATM CARD. SO TO DO THIS SIMPLY SEND *737*AMOUNT*PERSONS PHONE NUMBER#. YOU WOULD BE ASKED FOR THE NETWORK YOU WANT TO PURCHASE LISTED AS 1-4 SO CHOOSE CORRECTLY, THEN THEY WILL ASK FOR THE LAST 4 DIGITS OF YOUR ATM NUMBER.
