Bio gas in nigeria and the rest of the world

Biogas in Nigeria and the rest of the world

WE DON'T KNOW IT BUT MOST HOUSES IN NIGERIA HAVE SOAKAWAYS THAT CAN GENERATE BIOGAS FOR THE HOUSEHOLD.

Biogas is actually easy to do, after doing a lot of research about large and small scale biogas production I noticed that all it really took was the following;

1. Organic material source.
This was usually waste, from cow dunk, cow blood, pig stys, waste from kitchens and food factories but all in smooth molten form without particles.

2. Holding tanks or digester
These hold all the organic waste materials to be used to generate biogas.
Some designs were underground like how soakaway tanks are built, some were on the ground using pvc tanks.
The set up is anaerobic, meaning that the microorganisms in the waste multiply and breakdown the waste into propane gas and slug that is used for fertilizer.

3. Gas collection tanks
Gas is has to be held in a container briefly before being delivered to where it will be burnt or converted (cooking and electric generator). This can be an air tight drum, or an LP gas container (but the gas needs a special method to to stored using these tanks). If you feed directly you may run out immediately just think of it like a UPS for the gas setup.

4. Gas fittings and pipes.
Gas is flammable so you really wanna be careful with it, everything has to be strongly fixed, tightly fastened and airlocked. Gas valves, thread tapes, pvc gum or potty or adhesives, pvc pipes and hoses.

5. Cooking gas burner for cooking.

6. Biogas generator for electricity.

Ok as an IGBO boy you gotta here this, imagine a world where if everybody was to lazy to do the setup, I could go round and pay people rent to use there setup, channel all that gas while still given the landlords a percentage or a monetary deal and have my own gas grid that generates either power or a gas plant for cooking gas.
Oh! If you could get this gas incorporated into cars! Wouldn't that be sweet and inside of cars queuing for pms they'd come to your gas plants for a refill.
PMS is equally as dangerous and as highly flammable as biogas so don't frown your face to the dangers of it.
I have been to gas plants where people come and fill 50kg gas bottle in a few minutes, cars would probably run on same 50kg but partitioned so that you don't use it all up at once or the guage can warn you that you have half in your third tank.
Imagine generating electricity from biogas on several generators and having your own powerhouse and you can sell off your energy to people at your cost.

This is asides solar, wind and hydo which are sure boys in the renewable energy sector.

Please na! Someone should read these things and want to fund me like BIGDADDY WHY DON'T YOU COME JOIN ME HOW DOES $5M SOUND, I will blow your minds while still making money for you.

The future is here!
