5 easy steps to Upgrading and Updating any iDevice

Please in order to update or upgrade do the following.

1. Back up your idevice to either, iTunes or iCloud, iTunes being offline and with your device plugged into a computer (note that you marry one apple device to one computer, meaning that you cant sync your iphone and you ipad into the same computer if they both have different information) and iCloud being over the internet using Wifi.

2. Back up using other backup apps and methods, this method may not do justice but it helps a lot. Apps like Whatsapp and ECbackup for contacts. Manually copying the contents of the picture folder when you plug the iDevice into a computer.

3. Unlock your device and remove the lock back function from settings. This may be a problem if you dont do it early enough, it may interrupt the booting process later after the upgrade process.

4. Update either from the apple device or from the iTunes on the computer (both method) require massive internet, massive being 1GB and above, it may vary depending on the version of the ios, even in a version there are sub versions, often because of updated patches in the operating system or security updates or user interface updates.
ON THE DEVICE: Just go to Settings-->General-->Software update--> INSTALL

ON ITUNES: Most times auto detect will just detect the the phone if iTunes is installed on the computer and there is internet, it simply connects to the update server at apple and asks you whether to DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL or DOWNLOAD ONLY, there is the option to do nothing but since we a concerned with download those are the two options of concern.

5. After the download the phone does its magic, shows you the apple logo and takes you to your new experience. You may still need internet to activate the phone, register the upgrade on their server and sign you in with an apple ID soo i suggest you open one if you dont have it already.

IOS 7 and Evasi0n7

Greetings to all those reading this, i currently have upgraded my iPhone 4s from IOS 6.0.2 to IOS 7.0.4 and well it was a new welcomed feeling though the user interface is quite( ok extremely colourful like kindergarten) colours. I would never want to use an iPhone without a jailbreak, why? You may ask but there are alot of tricks and tweaks that i got used to and just couldnt do without, some of which were the SBsttings toggle menu for very quick options to switch on or off stuff like 3G and Wifi and CallerID and Airplane mode and alot more without going to settings, SwipeSelection for moving the cursor as you write to any position by just swiping your hands thru the qwerty keyboard, SBrotator 6, MobileTerminal like the command prompt of the phone, whatsapp unlimited for sending all contacts a broadcast on whatsapp or allowing more than 30 members on a chat group, change themes with WinterBoard, announcing an incoming call with iCallAnnounce, oh! Most importanntly collect songs and picture and videos via bluetooth from other non iPhones and those collected items go to you music for songs, camera roll for pictures and videos for videos. Amazing huh! It doesnt stop there, i could collect apps from my friends like really just collect his $4.99 app and just not pay for it and it'll work in my device with appstore perstering my life.

Well as i write this is still possible on IOS 6 devices, IOS 7 jailbreaks are still bein updated and tested with MobileSubtrate to make sure the apps on cydia work( if you didnt understand a word i said here its ok, apps are still being upgraded thats all) to avoid error messages. 

I like to think of jailbreaking with the concept of an ATM. Apple gives you an iphone and says use it like this, just like a bank would say use this ATM just to withdraw money but say we wanted this machine(unix, linux-like machine that can do soo much more ) to make phone calls or when we insert our ATM cards it shows not just our names but it says your name out, "Welcome Obi, how's your day going!" Or in native "Ah! bros your money don short? No worry yaself i dey here". Even sloting in your ATM could be used to identify you, bringing out your picture, signature and house address or a next of kin, for security and emergencies. ATM's you can browse the internet from, or make phone call from all at the expense of you account. THAT WOULD BE AWESOME RIGHT!!! Thats what jailbreaking your phone is like really, you just add alot of cool stuff. 

Anyways i told you guys how i love all these features and i've been an iphone freak for soo long, if iPhone can come with all these feature from "Buy" then its a worthless piece of hardware if they know we try to jailbreak and they still let us and not get 70% of the jailbreaks absorbed. I wait 3-5months for jailbreaks and i'm tired of it. Still androids are kinda like making stuff we call jailbreaks features on thier devices. I love you guys apple but you dont love me, so! I'm keep my iphone ya but i think thats were i end our relationship. I just had to say it before you lose a good follower.
